There ended up being a short, but fever-pitched motocross style bike trend in the 70's and the Canadian company CCM produced this model for the Sears department stores. Front and rear shocks, heavy-duty wheels and knobby tires became stock features from a short time. As seen here, the standard missing plastic gas tank and fenders were the order of the day. After everyone else has destroyed their high rise or 10-speed bikes, these shockers just kept on rolling.
